Part of achieving and maintaining physical, emotional and spiritual health, is letting go of negative feelings, thoughts & experiences, focusing on the positive, re framing our difficult experiences, visualizing good things, and praying & letting go of anger, resentments & hurts. We need to release these things to our Higher Power & the Universe, as well as the outcome of our wishes and hopes, in a spirit of love.. ideally, and hopefully.

Last night my son and his friend did their own little fire burning ceremony out back of my house at 12am. Their intention was to let go of some of the pain associated with their recent challenging relationships. They invited me to join with them, which I did, & felt honored to be invited. I thought we might do the same and more so, at our next Talk Circle on Friday January 8th at 7pm.

This week I would like us to think about not only what we might like to release, decrease, let go of, accept or change within ourselves and our lives, but especially what we would like to grow, nurture, begin, readjust, stop, develop or focus upon, as we begin this new year of 2010

We will have a fire burning and balloon releasing ceremony to help us express this focus on the positive, and release of the negative.

Up until this month I have always had the Talk Circles on the First Friday of each month. Because the first Friday of this month is New Year's day and many of us will be away at this time, I thought it might be best to move to the 2nd Friday, or next week. Just to be on the safe side, I will mention a situation in my life that may necessitate another change to the date. My boyfriend's mother is about to pass on, & lives in Michigan. If this should happen this week, I may need to reschedule the Circle. If so, I will send another email to you all, and if not, I look forward to another evening of warm fellowship & connection.

As most of you know, the cost for this is $10 per person. Some may wish to bring a yummy dish for the group to enjoy, in lieu of the cost, but check with me to share what you might like to bring, so that we do not have duplication or all desserts, LOL.
